Kim learned that she was HIV positive after her son was diagnosed. The guilt and shame of passing the virus on to her child were terrible, but she realized that getting effective care for her son was critical. Once she saw how well he responded to treatment, she began to focus on her own health as well. Kim and Anthony are now both WHP clients, and Kim gladly makes the 4-hour drive from their home to get to the clinic because WHP helps make my life, and my son's life, mean more. - Watch my video
