Ruth Greenblatt, MD, Program Founder, describes how care designed for HIV+ women came to be.

The Executive Committee of WHP is a group of high-level community members, activists, scientists, and clinicians who share a passion for women and HIV. The group provides oversight and direction for women's HIV services in San Francisco, decides on areas of need and the potential for expansion, and assists in crucial aspects of program promotion and fundraising.

The Executive Committee meets quarterly. Each meeting includes an educational segment hosted by a senior HIV scientist, clinician, or political leader.
