Edward Machtinger, MD, Director of WHP

Brenda Burney-Jackson, NP, RN
Brenda has been with WHP for 11 years, providing HIV-positive women with the comprehensive care they need to remain healthy.
Monica Gandhi, MD, MPH
Monica is a specialist in infectious diseases, serving WHP as both a clinician and scientist. She is particularly interested in developing new methods of measuring the differences between men’s and women’s responses to anti-HIV therapy.
Ruth Greenblatt, MD
Ruth was the founder of WHP and is a nationally recognized expert in the science and care of HIV+ women. She has authored more than 80 scientific papers and is well known for studies on the epidemiology and pathogenesis of HIV in women.
Susan Shea, FNP, MS
Susan has cared for HIV+ women and families for over 20 years. She has championed a "harm reduction model of care" that allows the most at risk HIV+ women to always feel safe and comfortable accessing care at WHP.
